I don't know if there was a court case - it was just noted in her workhouse admission record that she'd been brought by a PC, been assaulted

I saw two of those workhouse records but never picked that up.  Will read them again.  Tks.

In relation to Emily's death in 1887; can anyone tell me who was living at 2 Disney Street, Southwark in 1887?  I used to be able to view the electoral rolls for London for this time period; but they don't seem to be accessible anymore (and I am an ancestry member).  I wonder what has changed?

They are still on ancestry.  You might have searched by rolls, rather than registers.

London, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1965

Added perhaps this would be better (or not)

Surrey, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1962

Just checked and the names are there but can't acccess the Street address or 'Ward/Division/Constitutency'.
If I click on 'to view' it asks me to join Ancestry.  What am I doing wrong?
As I was hoping to see the address of the person.
