1935 map (unfortunately, the old street map for Bournemouth I spotted does not cover this area)

Thank you hanes teulu - I will have a look into that newspaper listing.  I wonder if Dundonald is now 428 (Carlton Court) Christchurch Road?  Nina

If you have access to newspapers have a look at the Bournemouth Guardian, 1 Dec 1894. It mentions postal deliveries. Dundonald mentioned and occupiers.

Rosie99 made a typo, it should be Crabton Close Road.

The original does look like Crahton  :)

Alwyn (the owner of the flickr site mentioned in the above reply) is very knowledgeable about Bournemouth history -- he has a huge collection of postcards of the area.
It might be worthwhile to contact him and see if he can help identify the addresses for you
Wainwright - Yorkshire
Whitney - Herefordshire
Watson -  Northamptonshire
Trant - Yorkshire
Helps - all
Needham - Derbyshire
Waterhouse - Derbyshire
Northing - all

It’s definitely Crabton Close road, it still exists. Hawkwood Road runs from Sea Road to Crabton Close Road, I used to park in it when I went to the dentist.

I have been through all my books of old photos of  Bournemouth. Christchurch Road, is a very long road and runs from the Lansdown roundabout Bournemouth, right through to Iford where it joins Barrack Road in Christchurch. The only pictures I can find  are either where it forms the main shopping area through Boscombe, or from the beginning where the houses are concealed by trees. It is partway along that  stretch I think number 82 would have been, on the north side of the road.
