I was very pleased with what I found on it. It's not usual for full listings of households, etc. before 1841.

The transcription look fairly accurate.

Hello again.
Yes,you've done a BRILLIANT job.

Thomas Golledge is in Milk St ,3 down from the Griffin Inn.
2 doors up is his mother in law Ann Avon. She the only one who owns her own home.
In between is Lydia King .Well Ann Avon's mother in law was Esther King , so despite finding no other record of a Lydia King she must be a relative.
Thomas's eldest son John was apprenticed to a George King carpenter in 1790 and he's living down the other side of town.

And the James family ,well there is supposed to be ton s of them but only one chap on the 1785 census-Jacob James shoemaker.
Now I'm happy to go for him as the father of Jacob James born c 1795 despite not finding a baptism for him ,but the family are non-conformists going to the Rook Lane chapel.
And also in Trooper St is his mother in law Betty Greenland.
I've spent hours going back and forth ,looking at the households of brothers and sisters ,finding out what they did for a living.
I've had a lovely time ,thanks to you.
And now I'm off to see if I can find an old photo of The Griffin .Maybe a wide shot with Ann Avon's house and Thomas Golledge's in ?

This is a lovely New Years present.
Thank you
