Congratulations on the 20th Anniversary.  AND thank you to Trystan and Sarah for setting it all up.  AND thank you to all the Moderators who look after us. 

There are many of us who would be totally lost without our regular dose of RootsChat.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Thank you Sarah and Trystan, and “everyone else”.  With the help of others, I’ve found out a lot about my ancestors but even more important (to me), others so kindly have shared their knowledge about my ancestors’ towns, counties, way of life, dialects, etc.  One can find out so much by researching the internet, but there’s nothing like communicating with people who actually have firsthand knowledge of my English and Irish ancestors’ lives.

All the best from rainy California.  (But we are thrilled to have rain after our recent severe droughts.)  :)
