Thanks for the suggestions.   As I expected, I already have the network settings as detailed.   When trying to map a network drive, a dialogue box requiring a password comes up - its not the one I use for the NAS, or the one that is used for Windows.

I think I am going to go down the route of another manufacturer, but that can wait a while as I can still use it via its web interface.
