Sweet, great job.... ladyhawk same mother father and country date looks good

the Family search tree has the wrong grandmother for him. His grandfather married somebody with the same name Fanny which.

I am having a problem with his brother Cyril as well a confusion. with two people mixed. The right Cyril is is Cyril Sydne Vowles but his documents and mixed with a Cyril Simon Vowles

Thank you thank you.

For Rodney's father Lewis Edward Vowles I am missing a huge gap of his life in 1910 he comes over from Durban to England on a boat. His name is almost not readable. His death notice was found here, and he died in 1947. So, the 1911 Census for him is missing. A living person said they met him in South Africa in the 1940's sometime.
I am also missing the 1901 census for Lewis I assume he was still in England because he married his wife in England in 1902.

I know he worked on ships and in 1893 where he became 2nd mate. I assume he may of been working ships as a profession after that.

He was also made First Mate on 20 July 1895 and Master on 25 January 1902.

As his wife Harriet and family are on their own in 1911, I think it safe to assume he was at sea.

I'm not confident in finding out which ships he may have been on, perhaps someone else on here may be able to find out?

I can't find a cert for the marriage of Rodney Vowles and Elsie Mary Blatch but I was told that they were married 12 Nov 1938

They moved around a lot and spent years in Zimbabwe, South Africa and England. I can't see their marriage in the British BMD though.

1950 to his death in 1974 I was told he was in Zimbabwe.
I have his and his wife's death cert where he died in Zimbabwe

Around 1968 he was working for the "Founders Building Society" whatever that is?

I have his probate the fact that it was in Winchester England went nowhere.

According to an obituary for Sir Albert ROBINSON who died in 2009 aged 93, high commisioner to Britain for the Central African Federation in the early 1960s, he and Harry OPPENHEIMER helped start the Founders Building Society around 1953.
