Hello

Looking for some help finding my great grandmother Teresa Sweeney McClintock. (1st Marriage Toal - 2nd Marriage Doherty)

I have been unable to find her since she gave up my grandmother 1935 and then she reappears 1942 married philip.

I applied for the scottish 1939 census but she has not been found on there.

Can anyone help me find any further info.

She had 6 children in total, 1st husband name Edward Toal 2nd husband Philip Doherty.

Teresa born 1898.

She was b 1898 Hamilton

McClintock/Patrick Toal marriage was 1919 Hamilton.  Patrick possibly died 1929 Hamilton

Presumably the child b 1935 was illegitimate

She married Philip Doherty 1942 Bridgeton - he possibly died Bridgeton 1947

To confirm the Doherty death you would need to download the 1942 marriage cert & 1947 death cert & compare parental details

As she was only 49 in 1947 she may have remarried again

With Carole's mention of the marriage to Patrick Toal being in Hamilton, I wonder if these are Patrick's entries in the VRs leading up to his death in 1929:
