A mini rant - dna related
« on: Tuesday 09 January 24 23:55 GMT (UK) »
Just need to get this off my chest.
I bought a dna test kit for my son, in the hope that the results might help me chip away at a brick wall or two.
He did the test, and posted it (overseas) as requested in September.
Having heard nothing back from them by Christmas, and with a bit of prodding from me, he contacted the company and they haven't received it.
The mail to England has been taking 2-3 weeks ....so where is it? Gone on a world tour?
Great way to start 2024!

I believe that most companies will send a replacement if you ask.

I'll echo what Gadget has said:-

<Free replacement DNA kits are provided under the following circumstances: -

When a DNA kit does not arrive within 14 business days of the date of order (or 5 business days for expedited shipping) When a kit arrives damaged. When we don't receive a sample within 20 business days of the date it was mailed to us.>

Thank you for the tips. The company are sending a replacement kit; fingers crossed that this one travels safely.
