I am seeking help from anyone regarding the following persons who I believe are my  forebears from in and around the Bridgwater area of Somerset viz.

JOSEPH BLACKMORE b 18045 Stoke St.Mary

ISAAC BLACKMORE b ?  1770`s

ABRAHAM BLACKMORE  b ?   (possibly father of Isaac and G.Father of Joseph)

All and any help will be appreciated.

Stoke St Mary is nearer Taunton rather than Bridgwater . From FindMyPast I can see the following:

Joseph Blackmoor bapt 8 April 1804 at Stoke St Mary, son of Isaac and Ann

Isaac Blackmoore marries Ann Coombes at Stoke St Mary  on 12 April 1801, they also seem to have baptised a son, Thomas , at North Curry-on 24 Aug 1801.

There is a burial in North Curry for an Isaac Blackmore, Age 62 ( born 1775) on 15 Aug 1837.

The only baptism I can see which might correlate to this is Isaac Blackmore at Halse, son of Abram/Abraham, which according to Somerset Baptisms was 3 Jan 1777, but the Bishops' Transcripts say 15 Jan 1777.

There is a marriage between an Abraham Blackmore and Mary Small at Milverton in 1762.

Hope this is useful !
