Civil War sailor
« on: Saturday 13 January 24 02:58 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for the service record of Henry Frederick Price, sometimes called Harry Price.  If his grave marker is to be believed, he served in the Union Navy on the USS Carondelet, but I can't find him in a list of Civil War sailors.  The Carondelet was an ironclad gunboat which patrolled the Mississippi River.

According to his death certificate, Henry was born in England in about 1837 and came to the United States in about 1847.  In civilian life he was a carpenter and lived in Brooklyn, New York.
