Marriage record is simply the index for that quarter.  Again, thanks so much for your assistance.

Searching the 1841 Census for a Mary Mitchel with a year of birth of 1837 +/- 2 years only brings up one result --

Charles Mitchell age 35, a Labourer
Melicent Mitchell age 40
Mary Mitchell age 4
Edward Mitchell age 1
William Tendall age 9

The family were living at Leicester Street, New Sleaford.

The 1851 Census shows:

Charles Mitchell age 47 a Labourer, a Widower, born Sleaford

Edward Mitchell   age 11 Son, a Scholar, born Sleaford

They were living at Playhouse Yard, New Sleaford

There is no sign of Mary Mitchell

Milicent Mitchell died on the 21 or 22 November 1848 and was buried on the 25 November 'in the Parish of New Sleaford'

Her death was announced in the Lincolnshire Chronicle, 24 November 1848 (snippet image courtesy of Find My Past)

Charles Mitchell married Millicent Read Tindale on 13 Dec 1836 in Sleaford. Image on FindMyPast
Witnesses: William Tindale and Martha Walmer?

Edward Mitchell baptised in Sleaford on 15th September 1839, son of Charles and Millicent.

Melicent Read Tindale baptised on 29 July 1799 in Sleaford, daughter of Edward and Sarah.

Edward Tindale married Sarah Thurton on 12th January 1794 in Sleaford.

However, there was a Mary Ann Mitchell buried in Sleaford on 7th August 1841, born in 1837

I did find a Mary Mitchell 14 servant on the 1851 census yesterday that could be her.  Didn’t have Boston birthplace but age and occupation fits with Mary who sailed in 1853.

Not many Mary Mitchell’s in Lincs so could be her.

Marriage record is simply the index for that quarter.  Again, thanks so much for your assistance.

You need to get the marriage cert for reliable information about her parents.

She died in 1915.

Death registration:

Birth year:  1837
Death date: 30/06/1915
Mother's name: Ann MITCHELL
Father's name:  William MITCHELL

A lot of trees have her as the daughter of William and Mary and there is someone who fits.

1841 Census in Timberland, daughter of William and Mary, with siblings David 5 and Elizabeth 11 months.

In 1851, she might be a servant in Billinghay, although born in Dogdyke which is 8 miles from Timberland.
William, b 1803, and Mary, b 1818, were in Timberland, with David 13 and Susan 6.

William, Mary, David and Susan are still there in 1861

However, some trees have William's death as 1866, but his burial was in Timberland on 8th October 1885.

Sorry, she married before civil registration started so there will be no help there.
