1939 "Dora Ruth Lane" born 1 June 1903 is living with them?

Waterbeach Road?

At 70 Ledgers Road.

She is a widow, a "shop assistant ladies outfitter". I'm assuming this is Nora Ruth.

Mother
Lydia Rose Ann Custerson was bap. 7 July 1872 at Kingston Cambridgeshire daughter of Pain Custerson and Jane.

So that's where son Frederick got his middle name - spelled differently but sounds the same.

My family have links with Eton.
My maternal great grandmother used to sell flowers to Eton scholars at Barnspool bridge in 1937.
I have a picture of her doing so.
Elsie Wilson used to be in service to one of the Master’s at  Eton.
I am not sure if this was a pupil or tutor.
Her son Peter Reynolds went to the Porny School.

On thé flower seller them there was also a Mrs. Kirtland who was pictured in one of the colledge papers selling flowers in the cloisters nearby. I think that this links back to the Kirtland's that had a shop in the Windsor Road at Slough in the late 1890s. Unfortunately I have lost the link to the paper with the picture and am rather confused as to why I canot relocate it.

I thought that the flowers came from Reading by rail but have since learned that they may have been grown at nurseries at Slough.
