I have a confusing marriage & was hoping that something in the Intention to Marry may help.

Mary KENNEDY md.Feb1906-Auckland to Rupert Sydney FOOTE
They divorced May1914-AKD
No obvious children, remarriage or death found
Rupert remarried in 1916

RSF & MK 1906 Folio 0023 Registration#1906/66

What exactly are you hoping to find ?     What is "confusing"  ?

Added :   Has your search more to do with Mary KENNEDY (FOOTE) ?    There is a death notice available for Rupert S. FOOTE  ... which mentions children (although these may be children of 2nd marriage or children of his 2nd wife) ?   https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/NA19480830.2.3

Added :    Actual date of marriage was   13 February 1906

[ITM's only indexed up until 1881 ... therefore actual marriage date and place of marriage is required for a look-up.     ]

The children mentioned in the death notice are from Rupert's second marriage.

The marriage in 1906 was at Registrar's Office in Auckland, according to article about divorce.

The information I was given is that Mary was b C1884 in Auckland
Without a middle name I found only the one
RGO/B: 1884/14883   Kennedy   Mary        Jeanie   William [b.10Sep1884]
RGO/D: 1974/31780   McPhail   Mary Cecelia   10 September 1884
Marriage=Charles McPHAIL md.1910 Mary Cecelia MEEHAN
I'm thinking that Mary MEEHAN is not mine because of the marriage year, but the same birthdate has muddled me.

Do you not have the marriage certificate, as this should have her age, birthplace and parents names.
