Wexflyer-
I am just curious to see if it had much on Tullicanna/Tullycanna castle and if this could add to what I already know.

So the interest is the building itself, and not some particular person or family associated with it?

Archaeological Inventory - Entry No. 1097, Tullycanna:
OS Ref. given, Castle, site of. Moated site. References date from 1600, when the site was held by the Neville family. Visible as cropmarks, not visible at ground level.

Wexford Castles (Colfer):
Just a single sentence in a large reference book, in a section on the transition from tower-houses (that is castles) to fortified hall-houses in late 16th century.
"A drawing of a small tower (now removed), possibly at Tullycanna, depicts it with Tudor style diamond-shaped chimney stacks"

Historical references to the townland, with mentions of owners, to be found here
https://www.logainm.ie/en/53919

From the material there, it appears the first known reference to the townland was in AD 1308.
