Just had another look - 10,209  :) :)
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

May I gently remind members who are particularly troubled by this proposal that signing the petition is only one way of expressing your disapproval. You can also respond to the Ministry of Justice Consultation and of course you can tell your local MP what you think of it. Since it's an election year, I suspect MPs will be more likely to take their constituents' concerns more seriously.
