Bryan Blundell
« on: Friday 19 January 24 05:25 GMT (UK) »
I am having trouble finding out which William Blundell is correct there are two Williams born 1764 to parents Bryan Blundell and Ann Maria Poole. One I think is my grandfather the other is Rev William Blundell.  Also it looks like my family tree goes back to Bryan Blundell 1674 a slave trader.

Could some of your experts help both William Blundells have been entered on my family tree on Family search.

Helen

I can only see one baptism for William Blundell in 1764.

Who did your William marry and when?
What were his children's names?
Milligan - Jardine – Glencross – Dinwoodie - Brown: (Dumfriesshire & Kirkcudbrightshire)
Clark – Faulds – Cuthbertson – Bryson – Wilson: (Ayrshire & Renfrewshire)
Neale – Cater – Kinder - Harrison: (Warwickshire & Queensland)
Roberts - Spry: (Cornwall, Middlesex & Queensland)
Munster: (Schleswig-Holstein & Queensland) and Plate: (Braunschweig, Neubruck & Queensland & New York)

If you provide a link to your tree on FamilySearch, then maybe we can see what the problem is.

How do you know that William (a shoemaker) who married Rachel Carr in 1794, was the son of Bryan Blundell?

Is this your William Blundell - burial 24 Jul 1832 Liverpool age 60
That gives birth around 1772.

He is possibly the son of James and Catherine Blundell baptised 1772

I think you need to go back to Joseph and check you have all the correct family links.
Where and when was your Joseph Blundell born?

Can you post all that you know about Joseph?
We need some more information in order to help sort things out.

There is a Will for Bryon Blundell Merchant of Liverpool 1795 located at the Probate registry of Chester.

Hopefully it will name all his surviving children
