I would appreciate any help in finding the births/baptisms of Young Munday and Mary Mitchel, and the death/burial of Mary.   Young Munday and Mary Mitchel married on 9 October 1763 at St James, Clerkenwell, Islington. I have not been able to trace either of them back further.

A possible candidate is Young Munden [not Munday], baptised on 27 July 1740 in Haynes, Bedfordshire, but it might be a red herring. The record is a typed version of the Haynes Parish Registers on microfilm at Family Search.  I have not seen the original, which may have been incorrectly transcribed.

Family Search suggests the name Munday originates from Ireland and southern England.  Young Munday's son John Munday (1767-1858) enlisted in the 18th Royal Irish Regiment of Foot in 1767 suggesting a possible Irish connection.

I have found baptisms of eight children of Young and Mary:
John and Mary Munday baptism 6 Dec 1767 at St James, Clerkenwell;
Richard Munday baptism 3 Feb 1771 St Andrew By The Wardrobe, London;
Richard Munday baptism 22 Aug 1773 death 25 Dec 1773 St Andrew By The Wardrobe, London;
Thomas Munday baptism 5 Dec 1774, St Andrew By The Wardrobe, London;
Ann Munday born 9 Feb 1779 baptism 28 Feb 1779, St Sepulchre, Holborn, City of London; Ann Munday aged 17 months burial 5 Aug 1780 St Benet Paul's Wharf, City of London;
Ann Munday age 13 months burial 24 March 1782, St Benet Paul's Wharf, City of London;
William Munday 13 April 1783 baptism St Benet Paulīs Wharf City of London.

Young Munday, widower, married Ann Wild, widow, on 28 May 1798 at St Luke Old Street Finsbury.  I have not found any records of their having children.

Land Tax records list Young Munday in St Paul London (1785); Castle Baynard City of London (1786; 1788); Dorking, Surrey (1801); and as Young Monday in St Matthew, Bethnal Green (1808; 1809).

Young Munday was buried on 13 July 1808 at St Matthew, Bethnal Green.
