Katharina geborene (unbekannt) zu Köln
Zu Dreieichenhain
Am drei und zwanzigsten April
des Jahres tausend achthundert achtzig und sechs
Nachmittags um zwölf drei viertel Uhr
verstorben sei.

Katharina, nee (unknown), born in Cologne

Died on the 20 April 1886, at 0:45 am.

Gemäß Verfügung Großher-
zoglichen Amtsgerichts Langen
vom 27ten Oktober 1889
wird ergänzend und be-
richtigend heute bemerkt,
daß der Familiennamen der
Anzeigenden „Glas“ nicht
„Glaß“ geschrieben wird.
und daß dieselbe ein
geborne Brete ist

Dreieichenhain am 30ten November 1889
der Standesbeamter
gez. Eidner

Für die richtige Übertragung vor-
stehenden Randvermerks ge-
mäß Verfügung vom 27. Februar
1890
Langen den 1. März 1890


According to the decree of the Grand
regional district court in Langen
dated October 27th, 1889
amendment and correction:
the family surname is "Glas” and not "Glaß".
and that the reporting persons maiden name is Brete

I believe that this entry is for the illegitimate child of Friedrich Merkle and Barbara Aahner - I think it is for their daughter Frederica - born 29 July 1866...?  I think that Friedrich and Barbara later got married - and wondering if it might say something about this in the record here?  Any help in translating this item?  THANK YOU!
