In your topic title you wrote 1655 - 1662. Did you expect the document to be from that period of time?
In that case, a mistake was made, because the document clearly states the date as given above.

Thanks for your help firstly..he was born 1655 and died 1662 in Vienne France. I am not well at the moment but still doing my research so bear with me. The family Jacques Macouin and Marie De Louche is correct. Just part of the puzzle that is unfolding for the Protestant ones that escaped from France...
I am not understanding the wrong date you stated, but it does say 27 Floreal and clearly shown on the typed document that I had linked.
The French Republican Calendar did not start to 1793 either I just read.

I do really think these are the wrong documents now for jacque Macouin Born 1655.

 I had saved docs as well for two of his siblings and I got caught in the same trap....So many Macouins .... was too easy for me to go wrong with misunderstand the Language. Thanks to Zefiro for pointing the date out in the first Instance.

One big error I made was not knowing that there was more than one Jacques Macouin and Wife Marie Delouche ''my one in the 17th Century'' and one in the 18th Century.
