I don't really think any of those are likely "your" Abraham LEWIS's father, just interesting to note the name and profession - just to make it more difficult for you!

Thank you for that information, I was unaware of the tattoos  :)
I'm curious to know why he was tried twice for the same felony of stealing a handkerchief. He was first tried on the 4th of July 1833 and found guilty and then tried a second time on the 17th August, found guilty, again and then the sentence of 7 years transportation handed down.

Tattoo “JN” inside lower right arm ( as annotated on 1834 convict indent)

What does JN stand for = Judah Nathan?

Rachel Lewis, [child of] Abraham Lewis, Employment: Hair Dresser, and Johanna.
Residence: Windsor; Born 19 Mar 1846 ;
Baptised: 12 Apr 1846, Baptised at Windsor by Clergyman [Rev] Henry T Stiles,
Registered at St Matthew's Church of England, Windsor.

Abraham Lewis death (and life) reported in newspaper
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/261026347?searchTerm=%22Abraham%20Lewis%22

My brickwall is my paternal great great grandmother, Rachel Nathan. I have no idea who her parents are. All I know is, she was supposed to be Jewish. She married my great great grandfather, James Mullins at the Presbyterian Church in Sydney on the 19th March 1862. The witnesses were Johanna Nathan and Dorindah Nathan. Rachel was aged 17 and the certificate states she was born at Windsor, NSW. I have searched the NSW BDM and there is no birth recorded for a Rachel Nathan. I have looked at every record for a Rachel born at Windsor for around 1846 and the only name which rings any bells or sounds Jewish is the birth of Rachel Lewis to Abraham and Johanna.

Does anyone agree that my great great grandmother, Rachel Nathan, could be Abraham's daughter?
Yes I think you are on the right track here.

There is an entry for Abraham Lewis in 1889 - 90 at Liverpool Assylum which records him as a widower with 1 married daughter in Petersham. Was your Rachel in Petersham at this time?

Wow, the article posted by Neale1961 is a great find.

Do you know where Judah Nathan / Abraham Lewis was buried? If there is a burial record on file somewhere, or if someone put up a tombstone for him at some point, one or both might list his father's name.

I'm assuming he didn't have any money or a will at the time of his death. Do you know if his wife Johanna had a will? Do you know where she was buried and have you checked for a burial / cemetery record and tombstone?

Do you have a copy of the Rachel Lewis birth record?
England: Barnett; Beaumont; Christy; George; Holland; Parker; Pope; Salisbury
Scotland: Currie; Curror; Dobson; Muir; Oliver; Pryde; Turnbull; Wilson
Ireland: Carson; Colbert; Coy; Craig; McGlinchey; Riley; Rooney; Trotter; Waters/Watters
