Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Gnr Jack Dolary Ayling.
Died 17 September 1940 at Great Raveley. Huntingdon.

The private memorial marking the grave of Gunner Jack Ayling no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark his grave.

Mentioned in the UK, World War I and World War II Memorial Books, 1914-1945

Jack was a gas fitter. Lived at the residence as above. Died from injuries received when as a despatch rider, he was leading a concoy at Great Raveley Huntington.
