Its easy to say in hindsight but you sometimes forget that every DNA conundrum we all work on (and relish) undeniably has an unequivocal solution. You get so bogged down in cM ranges and segment lengths that overlap etc that you think that the relentless fuzzy input data you are working with implies some kind of fuzzy output or solution. Of course it doesnt and there is very clearly two specific individuals at the heart of the issue and the data around that pair will no doubt fit the diverse information with which we work be it cMs, locations, social situations etc etc.
