This one has been on the CWGC wanted list for some time...............

Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Pte Albert Chesters - Royal Welsh Fusiliers - born 9 November 1889 -  died 24/2/1919 (died of pneumonia)  - reg No 46766

The son of Thomas Chesters and Ann Jane Chesters (nee Reed) 23 Peter Road. Walton Liverpool.

Research has shown that Pte Chesters is buried at Liverpool (Everton Cemetery).  The Commission are in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

Pte Chesters was commemorated in the United Kingdom of Remembrance at Maidenhead but the location of the grave was found as recently as 9 th December 1923.
