Messenger is changing.

All of a sudden today I can't access my Messages.  I have to create a pin.
This is on my Samsung tablet and Samsung phone
My husband has an Android phone of Huawei brand and doesn't  have to do that. He can carry on as previously.

Anyone else having to do this.

My phone is fine! Android.

My devices are both Android.  I had to create a pin which let me in on the phone but not on the tablet.

After 5 attempts I got in on both.

I don't even have to enter the pin on either now, it goes straight in as before.

All so much hassle in the first place  .Grrrr.

It seemed to be about this,

The app looks exactly the same but the "disappearing messages " is a bit of a worry.
There just doesn't seem to be anything about it.
I guess time will tell . If it works don't fix it. :(

I did read something about disappearing messages too. Hopefully they won't... so many pins and passwords!!!
