Inquisition Post Mortem 1561 Richard Busbye of Burford
« on: Thursday 25 January 24 16:57 GMT (UK) »
Hello,
I wondered if anyone might be able to help work out how the other Busbye names mentioned might be related to Richard who had dies please? Due to size and copywrite I can't load the whole thing.
What I do know is Richard was the son of John Busby who dies in Burford making a will in 1530. Richard's mum was Elizabeth. In 1550 there was an inquisition (after his mum died) stting his next of kin was Alice Sheppard (presumably nee Busby) wife of William Sheppard of Lydcot regarding land in Middlesex. By 1561 he was seized of his father's land and property in Burford and I am trying to piece together several Busby trees but can't work out of these Busby's mentioned are his next of kin and if so how they are related to him.
Many thanks for your help.
Best wishes,
Emma

Hi Bookbox,

Thank you so much for taking the time in unravelling the text for me and working out how all of the people are related.
The information has been really helpful in working out John's family too.
I really appreciate your help.

Best wishes, Emma

You're welcome.
On re-reading, I found that I had some words in the wrong order in clip (3) and have now changed them, but the names and relationships are not affected.
