The only Robert Noctor death was in 1973 in Northamptonshire.  He was Robert Joseph b 30.4.1948 so was only 25yrs old

What is the timescale for your Robert Noctor?  Birth/marriage dates etc

Have you found them on any English census?

As there are not any dates to work from.  How about this?

Marriage: 22 June 1916 Wicklow RC, Rathdrum
Robert Noctor of Summerhill, Wicklow occ:soldier Fa:Patrick Noctor, labourer
Margaret Kennedy of Wicklow occ:servant Fa:Andrew Kennedy, labourer

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1916/09779/5549814.pdf

Looks like Robert Noctor was born 6 Sep 1893 Rathdrum and
Margaret Kennedy b 1 Oct 1891 Wicklow

Possible children:
Patrick Noctor b 2 Dec 1919 Rathdrum MMN:Kennedy
Andrew Noctor b 17 Dec 1920 Rathdrum MMN:Kennedy
Robert Noctor b 26 Jun 1922 Rathdrum MMN:Kennedy

There are marriages in Birmingham for these between 1941-53 with possible
children who may still be living, so no info posted.

Hi Carole, the Robert Noctor I'm interested in died 1937 in Birmingham,  England x

There is a Robert Noctor marriage in B'ham in 1946 who could possibly
be the son of Robert Noctor who died in Wicklow & someone has them
mixed up.

Here is Robert in the 1901 Census
https://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Wicklow/Wicklow_Town/Ball_Alley/1817376/

In 1911 Census
https://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Wicklow/Wicklow_Urban/Kilmantin_Hill/898625/

After the death of Robert in 1937 it looks like Margaret and the family moved to Birmingham.
They may appear in the 1939 Register but I haven't looked.

They do appear on the Electoral Registers up to 1965.
I can't see them on the 1939 register.
