Hello,sorry to ask for get more help,but I am looking for information on my great uncle and great aunt,they were brother and sister,Deirdre jayne bamford 1949-2002 and her brother,the fantastically named Rodney Courtney Arlington bamford 1944-2008,both were born in Leicester to iris Agnes wells and Herbert Reginald bamford,any help would be greatly appreciated,kind regards Dean

I can't give too much, because of privacy, but on the Electoral Register, Deirdre was in LE8 6NT in 2002, and Rodney in LE4 2HG in 2008.

There is also a marriage for someone of Rodney's first wife's name in 1970.

VAN DRIVER IN MISHAP IS CHARGED

DOUGLAS WILEMAN (44), a manufacturer, of 51, Claredon Road, Hinckley, pleaded guilty at Hinckley Magistrates Court to a charge of driving carelessly on November 23.

He was fined £10.

Mr. Geoffrey Headley, for Wileman, said he had to pass two vehicles stationary at an awkward part of the road and his vision was obscured.

The motor cycle ridden by Bamford skidded for a considerable distance in the accident.

Rodney Courtney Arlington Bamford (22), a labourer, of 10, New Bulldings, Hinckley, the motor cyclist involved in a collision with Wileman's van, was summoned for driving without being properly insured, and was fined £20.
