Hitting a brick wall trying to find Birth/Baptismal records of Morgan Richards and details of his parents.

Morgan Richards Born c. 1825 according to multiple census

Appreciate any pointers or answers anyone may have.

Father is quoted as William on his Marriage Certificate.

I have the Banns & Marriage Certificates
Married 15 Jul 1850 Morgan Richards to Mary Ann Luff in Llanelli

1851, 1861, 1871 & 1881 Census all with strong cross links
1851 - Lived in Coalbrook Vale, Aberystruth
1861 - Lived in Garn Vach, Aberystruth
1871 - Lived in Coalbrook Vale, Aberystruth
1874 - lived in the King William, Nantyglo - based on school admission records of his daughters

I believe Aberystruth became Nantyglo later on and some of these places may have been same location.
1851 Census quotes Morgan Richards birth place as Trevethin
1881 Census quotes Morgan Richards birth place as Varteg
Others just say Monmouthshire
I appreciate these two places are fairly close to each other.

He was a Coal miner

I have mapped out many of his ancestors.

Children
Alfred Richards 1856
John Richards 1858
Mary Richards 1863
Christiannah Richards 1865
Joseph Richards 1868

Notable descendants
One of his sons, John Richards who was a senior magistrate for many years and a joint foundry owner.
One of John Richards daughters was  Gertrude Mary Richards (OBE) - Headmistress of County School for Girls, Hengoed

Thanks for any help anyone can provide

Nantyglo (from Welsh Nant-y-glo 'brook of coal') is a village in the ancient parish of Aberystruth and county of Monmouth situated deep within the South Wales Valleys between Blaina and Brynmawr.

My mother was born in Blaina!

Added: Aberystruth was an ancient ecclesiastical parish in Wales, located beside the north-west corner of the county of Monmouthshire against the border with Breconshire.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Fathers listed were

William Richards (Collier) - his father
Joseph Luff (Collier) - her father ( who stayed with them at various later census)

In the presence of
Henry or perhaps Harry Richards
William Reynault ???  - this name is very difficult to read

Not sure if I'm allowed to include copy of image from Parish records froim 1850 - surely this doesnt break copyright???

Thanks. Yep same valley, not one I am very familiar with in person, as yet.

I have a google map window constantly open, helping me track locations I find to help make sense.  Obviously the tricky bit is where governments, local authorities like to constantly re label places, but that's part of the challenge.  I try to use historical counties as a common reference point.

I believe the churches as that time were also constantly evolving.  The curate who witnessed the Banns was Arthur Griffiths who was active in trying to establish churches in the local area between 1850 - 1900.

My parents both born in another valley close by with plenty of local ancestors to hunt down.

Parish records for St Peter's, Aberystuth  are with the National Library of Wales.
Nant-y-Glo, Holy Trinity Church was founded in 1844.

I use GenUKI.org.uk for historical references etc.
