Maria Berry (married Day) born 1841 of Leeds
« on: Saturday 27 January 24 16:22 GMT (UK) »
Hello all,

I am trying to trace the ancestry of my 4x great-grandmother Maria Berry, who was born around 1841 in Leeds. She married William Joseph Day on 22 February 1860, and the marriage record gives her father's name as Joseph, but that's all I've been able to find.

There is a baptism record for a Maria Berry born 1839 in Leeds, but her father was George, and she was listed as single in the 1861 census, so I know that this is the incorrect Maria Berry.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,
Jack

Have you tried Fanny Maria Berry with mother's maiden name Holdsworth Ref 1842 Leeds?

the first two children are twins George and Mary Ellen, His parents are George and Mary so perhaps her mother is Ellen unless of course his mother is Mary Ellen.

Second daughter is Fanny ?

ADDED
WRONG her father is John Berry and she is still single 1861
