German baptism translation from 1845
« on: Sunday 28 January 24 04:46 GMT (UK) »
Hoping someone can translate this baptism for Friedrich Ernst Wilhelm BRÜCKNER please.

Page is labelled December 1845 so believe the birth could be 31 Dec, but not sure about baptism.

Thanks

davecapps - I had to do a double-check of the word copuliert! Glad it just means married!

In past times it just meant getting married. Nowadays it's the other meaning...

Thanks everyone.

He did marry on that date to his cousin, but she died the following year unfortunately.

Am guessing that morgens 2 Uhr means 2 in the morning.

Thanks Dave

Have the marriage, not June 1876 though, but April 1877.

Two BRÜCKNER brothers with similar names. Confusion can sometime reign when that happens.

Ernst Friedrich Ludwig born 7 Feb 1844 married Anna Louise KRULL 20 Apr 1877.

Friedrich Ernst Wilhelm born 31 Dec 1845 married Margarethe Anna Louise Fredericke REINHOLD 6 Jun 1876.
