I think daughter Martha might be with her mother in 1841 census.

However there is this burial in Hampton Lucy
Burial date   24 Oct 1802

When Richard was baptised in Dec 1802, his mother was a widow, because her husband (also named Richard) had died in October 1802.

Hi
Just to add because they are hard to find ,Richard is the son of Francis and Mary bapt 23.9.1759 at Badby.
Siblings ,various spellings ,Ann 16.7.1749 ,John 18.8.1751 ,Elizabeth 29.4.1753.
The couple married at Newham by banns 25.8.1748
Richard Gothard and Mary Newit.
Francis buried at Badby 22.6.1782 and Mary 10.8.1789.
There is a possible baptism for Francis at Norton Northants 19.1.1723 s of John and Ann.

The surname changes a lot.

ps there is an admission for a Richard Gothard of Badby to Northamptonshire Hospital under  Northampton General Hospital Admissions 1774-1846.He was discharged as cured 21st August 1802 after 2 weeks at the Hospital. That looks a bit over optimistic given he died in the October.
