Norfolk Consistory Court Administration for Walter Cowper 1579

Hi

I found a reference to a NCC Administration in NORCAT for William Cowper of Norwich dated 1579. This is supposed to be in NCC administration act book 1579-1581, fo. 6 .

From what I can see on familysearch they have the Consistory Court Act Books for 1579 although not actually for the precise date range quoted in NORCAT, however there seem to be no folio numbers indicated. Has anyone any experience of using the Act Books who could give me some advice how you use them without trawling through the entire julian year of 1579 as I am attempting at present? There will be many hundreds of pages to search otherwise. I would really appreciate some help on this.

It seems quite likely that the index has been published by the British Record Society (Index Library series).  If it has, then I imagine the reference will have been included.

On the FS microfilm, the NCC Administration Act Book 1579-1581, item 4, starts image 1135
Folio 6 sems to be on images 1143 (right hand side) and 1144 (left hand side), according to other names indexed on NROCAT
So is this Walter Cowper's entry bottom left?
