If I have the right 1871 entry - Catherine has a 10 possibly 11yr old Charlotte & a 5yr old William but no Thomas

GRO online confirms William's birth was registered March qtr 1866 - mmn McDermott

Forget that 1851 entry I mentioned in my earlier reply- not the right one.  Found that couple in 1861 and wife Margaret is still alive

Can't see a logical 1851 entry so wonder if John arrived between 1851-1856

Can you confirm spelling of surname?  Your post says Cavanagh but you say Thomas was Kavanagh?

No 1871 or 1881 entry fits the profile.

Where was Thomas born?
Who did he marry - when & where?

So could be his first wife then.  I was told he was married twice but no nothing of the first wife. Thanks so much CaroleW

The marriage certificate would give you his marital status -  bachelor/widower and his fathers name.

Thank you so much for your help. So still looking for a Thomas Kavanagh born around 1867ish with father John.

Where do you have information re Thomas?
