Quinlan: The Problems finding William
« on: Tuesday 30 January 24 14:30 GMT (UK) »
Afternoon all,

I am looking to find William Quinlan on the 1841 Census.

This is a timeline I know from various sources:

c.1813-16 - William Quinlan born son of Thomas Quinlan (a labourer) probably in Ireland
08-10-1837 Marriage to Mary Mitchell St Giles in the East, Middlesex, England. (Mary was the daughter of Francis Mitchell (a labourer) from Ireland).
27-Aug1938 - Daughter Mary Ann Quinlan born
Further children in 1841 1844, 1848.
04-03-1849 William Quinlan died St Giles in the Fields, Middlesex, England.

William is not on the 1841 that I have found (Freecensus, Ancestry, FindMyPast).
I am trying to locate him.

I know Mary Quinlan is on the 1851 Census and her birth place is Ireland.

Can anyone assist in locating William on the 1841 census please?

Thanks in advance,

Was the child born in 1841 Julia? What was their address then?

I don't have the birth Cert but Julia was christened in St. Patrick's RC church Soho Square,
Another daughter Catherine died 12 Sep 1841 in Clarks Buildings St. Giles in the Fields.
