Wasn't sure whether to post this on Lanarkshire or Kildare - might be best to link both and hope for a result. Fingers crossed.

Patrick's birth and Edward's birth took place at 'Allenwood' and were then registered in 'Kilmeague' district:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1880/02853/2045606.pdf (Patrick)
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1884/02693/1991827.pdf (Edward)

I was therefore thinking Allenwood North, -Middle, or -South, in Kilmeage parish, rather than Allenswood in Confey parish.  The 1901 Ireland census has a family in Allenwood North that ties in, Anne Tierney a boatman's wife and three children James, John and Mary:
https://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Kildare/Kilmeage_North/Allenwood_North/1443948/

The birth registrations for those children show the parents as Edward Tierney and Anne Conley:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1885/02627/1969221.pdf (James)
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1890/02432/1905519.pdf (John)
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1892/02348/1878130.pdf (Mary)

Here is Allenwood North (-Middle and -South are neighbouring townlands):
https://www.townlands.ie/kildare/connell/kilmeague/kilmeage-north/allenwood-north/

Edward Tierney died in 1904, his widow Anne registered the death, the address was Lowtown, a townland just to the south:

Thank you gaffy, really appreciated.

What are the chances (if any) of finding the relatives of the siblings John, James  and Mary ?

A dependant's pension was awarded on 18 December 1917 in respect of 9075 Private James Tierney of the Royal Irish Fusiliers, date and cause of death were 3 May 1917 and 'missing', the dependant was recorded as ... his mother, namely Mrs Annie Tierney of Lowtown, Robertstown, Naas, Co Kildare, so on balance of probabilities I'm guessing he was still single.

Which takes one to this census return in 1911, transcribed as Derney (no sign of Mary):
