Ancestry

Not sure whether I spoke about this so will repeat, although of no interest.

I had built a tree in Ancestry, sending off my saliva for testing. It all went to plan for my father's side of the family but I got stuck for my mother.

Her mother was born in Bedzin in the early 1900 but being Jewish, had to move away with her mother and sister.

That is where I am stuck.

My tree was flourishing for dad but nothing for my grandmother.

So I got fed up and came out of the whole thing, TREE and DNA matches.

My question is, should I want to return, will my tree and DNA still be there??

Can't comment about the DNA side - I refuse to use it!
Your tree should still be there; unless you deleted it.

P.S. There is a separate board for DNA questions.

Yes, both will still be there.

DNA can be a waiting game.

That said if one is unsure about DNA then research is a good place to start.

I cannot offer any advice of researching Polish origins but I do know that there are Jewish records available in London that may help, namely:- the Family History Library, the Routes to Roots Foundation, the Polish State Archives, and Jewish Records Indexing.

Plus Family Search has 6M plus Jewish records from Polish Cities.
