A search of the medal rolls has failed to find an Arnold Salisbury with a connection to the Rifles. There is an Alfred Salisbury of the King's Royal Rifle Corps but their cap badge is totally different.

So much easier to Research when you find the Relatives gave you incorrectl information to start with.
They now gave me the Grandmother's Birth details albeit Married Name not her Birth Name
So found GRO Birth Index and it provided her Mother's Maiden Name
Then Researched to find that Maiden Name marrying a Salisbury in June Quarter 1900 Islington
Guess what ?
He wasn't an Arnold Salisbury but Walter
Found his Medal Cards and Attestation which confirmed everything
