James / Jim Gee. Help please.
« on: Saturday 03 February 24 15:33 GMT (UK) »
I am looking at James Gee. In a Wrexham newspaper Supplement of 1907 he is the late Jim  Gee,  a Wrexham Character.
I only find him in 1871 Wrexham census.
James Gee 35 militia man b Wrexham
Wife Ann 38. Children William,  Mary,  Catherine and Margaret.
Catherine turns up in Salford in 1881, William in Bootle , but he comes back to Wales in Llangollen later.

1901 Wrexham possibly has Ann 64 a widow with daughter Mary.

No sign of James anywhere.  He is mentioned in Welsh Newspapers in 1870s and 1880s and is in Wrexham.
He is a Liberal supporter.

Can anyone help.

Thanks,  I just couldn't find them.

I'm struggling with birth registration for the children in order to find a marriage. I thought Gee would be easy 😃

Does Williams marriage to Elizabeth Barlow name a father. I'm of the opinion the children on the 1871 census are not his.
