In another article in 1884 James Gee tells that he volunteered for the Militia in 1855.
I wonder if he was Finn at that time .

It's only this family I'm looking at thanks.

A James Finn appears in the Wrexham Advertiser quite a few times, usually involving drink.
In one report his wife Ann Finn is mentioned.

What a story this is turning out to be.
Thanks.

Interesting 1861 census. William Fin's grandmother, might explain why James used Finn/Gee

Do you mean Mary Gee  from 1861 in Belle vue Road.
There is a Martha Gee in Holt in1851 , children Charles and Abraham. Maybe a different family.
