Hi
I am getting back into my research after a loooooong break.

Used to use FTM but it won't open on my computer.  Anyhow, I have downloaded the RootsMagic essentials to try.

Is it possible to print out one huge family tree using this software - or if i purchase the full version.  Unsure whether to purchase FTM again or try RootsMagic.

I did search but couldn't find this answer

Many thanks

Have you calculated how many pages you would need to print?

There have been a few threads on this subject.

Yes it will do it.

The question is why?

If the tree is a reasonable size you might end up with enough to wallpaper the house.

I have Roots Magic and it is pretty good and it is way less expensive than the latest version of FTM.

That said I may be wrong but if you update to the latest FTM then it should read your old versions data file whereas Roots Magic will load a Gedcom unless you have a tree on Ancestry.

I’ll see on my PC tomorrow how many A4 pages it says that my tree will take, I have both RM & FTM.
