Look up for service history

Hi all i'm looking for the Military service of Alfred Benjamin Blakesley born 17/8/1917 in Lambeth, London. I know he was enlisted but have no other information about him.
Not a lot to go on i appreciate but would be very grateful for any help given.

He is on the 1939 register in London

The 1939 Electoral Register shows his address as 23 Bloomhall Rd
