Adding a map with customised pins to a Family History document
« on: Monday 05 February 24 15:46 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I'm in the process of writing out my family tree.

I would like to be able to add locations to a map, and then add that to a document.

I've done this with Google Maps, but it's 'live' online and I don't know how to add a picture of the map to a document.

Is there anyway to do this?
;D Doing my best, but frequently wrong ;D
:-* My thanks to everyone who helps me, you are all marvellous :-*

Why not use the clipper tool?

Sorry, Windows doesn't call it the "Clipping Tool," but rather, the "Snipping Tool."

Windows Logo key + Shift + S

It gives a + on screen, position it where you want then left click and drag to over the area to be captured.  Release the mouse button and the selected area is captured.

Mine saves Screen captures automatically to a folder named Screencapture which is located in the standard Pictures folder.
