Thanks!

It looks to be written Alesbeiam, which could be a Latin version of Alesbey or Alesbee - neither of which I've come across before... :-\
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

Where was the family originally from?

Just had a quick look on Ancestry and similar names coming up are:
Alebesa (came from Hungary and Austria)
Albesia (came from Mexico and Scotland)
Albésia (Canada)
Alebesia (Pennsylvania) etc

Clarkson, Tolladay, Prevost, Killick, Hicks

Strongly suspect this is a flight of fancy but here’s a link to Crickhowell Castle also known as Alisby’s Castle.

I'll record Alebesia....

I don't know why you would do that.  The most likely spelling is that posted by Arthur in Reply #1.
