Ann WEBB
« on: Tuesday 06 February 24 12:22 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking for help with the birth and the parents details of Ann Webb. I think she was born around

1761 in Cumnor.  She married John Hedges on 20 May 1785 in Cumnor.  They had seven known

children.  She died in 1833 and is buried in St.Michael's Churchyard, Cumnor.  I'd be grateful for any

help with this. Thank you.

Cumnor PR transcripts (ex OFHS) have the earliest WEBB baptism at Cumnor in 1766, Mary and Martha, both daughters of Edward and Mary, followed by an Edward in 1769. No others.

One of the witnesses at Ann's marriage to John HEDGES was an Edward WEBB.

There was an Ann WEBB baptised at Radley parish in 1758, d/o Wm and Eliz.

Hi Eyesee, Thank you for your help, I'm probably looking in the wrong area at Cumnor, it was

John Hedges who came from Cumnor, I think there was a large Hedges family there, perhaps she

came from Radley?  I'll research the Ann Webb who is the daughter of William and Elizabeth.  Thank

you again.
