Hi!

I have been searching for my great great grandfather, Michael Whelan who was born in County Wexford in September 1812. Michael's parents are listed as Peter Whelan and Mary Madden on his death certificate, he died in Brooklyn in 1901. Michael immigrated to NYC approx. 1850 and married a Catherine Cunningham. Catherine was born in Ireland as well. Her parents are Mary Murphy and Patrick Cunningham however I am unsure what part of Ireland they are from. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
