Looking for information regarding Thomas Laynton, born Market Drayton 1860. Parents Ann & Thomas Laynton. No idea if he died in infancy. Any help will be appreciated.

Looks like, in 1871, the family is in Street Lane, Little Drayton, Market Drayton as LAYNTON, Thomas jnr. is 11, born Market Draynton. Thomas snr has same occupation as in 1861 census (I assume you have seen this, family is LEIGHTON) – higgler?

I'm still unsure about how to reference census entries:

21st April 1880, Thomas Laynton age 20 of Little Drayton, butcher, attested for the Coldstream Guards, reg # 4909 Father Thomas Laynton. Discharged medically unfit after ~ 3 years.
