Agnes Hanlon/O'Hanlon - Liverpool
« on: Sunday 11 February 24 01:06 GMT (UK) »
Looking for information on Agnes O'Hanlon who appears as the daughter of Michael O'Hanlon and Mary O'Hanlon (nee Traynor) in 1921 census at 35 Mann Street, Bootle. It says she is 16 years and 1 month, the same as another daughter, Kate. They are both listed as born in Liverpool. Kate/Catherine was baptised (Catholic) 26 Feb 1905. I can’t see a baptism or birth for Agnes. I suspect she may be an ‘adopted’ daughter.

Agnes O'Halon [sp] appears in the electoral registers in Birmingham in 1945 with her 'sister' Teresa Smithers, nee Hanlon.

There is some background information on the family in this post https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=877760.0

Any extra information on Agnes would be appreciated.
Shelley

Thanks, Shaun. That’s interesting, but Agnes is 16 years old in 1921. This can’t be the correct one.

Maybe it was a delayed birth certificate - she may have needed it to commence work?
