He turns up on the 1891 census.
He is married to my paternal 2nd Grandmother but appears to disappear of the radar in 1891.

Paternal Grandmother ( Susanah Smith )marries again in 1898, for the 3rd time.

I cant seem to find anything for him and it is his family that is of great interest.

Any help would be gladly received.

When Susannah married Reynolds Hardman in 1898 was it recorded she was a widow?

The 1881 and 1891 census have William's birthplace as Burnley. How do you have his birthplace as Blackburn in 1851?

When Susannah married Reynolds Hardman in 1898 was it recorded she was a widow?

I dont have a certificate, it does show on the BMD that she uses her first married name which is English, she then marries Pollit and then Hardman in 1898, English was still alive I beleive so she lied on the Pollit marriage saying she was a spinster, i do hope that makes sense.

The 1881 and 1891 census have William's birthplace as Burnley. How do you have his birthplace as Blackburn in 1851?

On the marriage Banns he is registered as living and coming from Blackburn.
