When I first got bowel cancer, I really couldn't sleep at all, and I got into the habit of doing jigsaws, online. free - you can't lose the pieces as you can with real jigsaws, and an hour or two of that, usually between 11.30 and 2.00 usually let me at least get back to bed and doze until c 6.30.
Whatever helps, try it!

T.Y, I hope you are in good health now.
Well Heart Failure clinic this afternoon, not all doom and gloom .
Yes heart function has deteriorated somewhat ,but there are drugs to help.
I felt better after stopping Bisopralol , but then my eye drops were changed and the new one - Monopost- contains a BetaBlocker so symptoms of extreme fatigue  - strong palpitations etc came back .
Hopefully by the end if the month Monopost will be stopped if pressure is as good,so things will be a lot better.
I have not had a heart check for years which is bad, this could have been minimised.
I shall have words. >:(
Left for appointment at 12-30, got back at fiveO’Clock after a mid bus visit to M&S,got steak, some lemons ,eggs and tins of ham at  Harry’s family this weekend.
Broke an egg on the bus ,I found out at home, they were all ok in M&S.

Well family will be calling re my hospital  visit.
Pots to wash and kitchen to tidy after cooking so had better get on.

Hope all are well ,as well as can be expected amongst we oldies.

Just had a nice polite P.M I was wrong about Monopost ,I am on Timolol ie Tiopex
Not sure why I put that  , but Tiopex does haveBetablockers.

I was on Cosopt twice a day but pressure was good last time so changed to the once a day Tiopex also known as Timolol .

Monopost doesn’t have Betablockers, Tiopex does.
That is what I queried with The Specialist , the dose is smaller but still there.

Off to have my hair cut later today, I won’t like it, I never do- well hardly do.
It is quite long but graduated as it is a short cut growing out .

Bin day today, un recyclable and garden waste .I don’t know how I stand the excitement !

I must have left my folder with health notes in at the hospital on Tuesday, can’t find them anywhere yet I did have the latest given to me on Tuesday .
Good job my eye notes are in a different folder.
Had a blitz on paperwork yesterday whilst searching .
All filed up to date and in their own folders, energy, council tax, banking etc

Well a very dull grey day ,the sky looks lavender to me.
I can have a cuppa now time has elapsed from my first tablets .

Hope everyone is O.K.- I am wondering where you are!
Cheerio.

Perhaps one of us ought to be starting a new thread for the next week  soon? Completely losing track of time at this gloomy bit of the year...

TY

BUT next week's diary doesn't start until Monday, 19th February and ends Sunday, 25th!!!

Luckily, we've got lovely sunshine and a bit of warmth here in Staffordshire - Oops, shouldn't have said that, as it may very well be tempting fate!  :-X :-X

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

A bright sunny afternoon here in Devon.  How cheerful everything suddenly feels and when I go out into the garden I can see snowdrops, primroses and daffodils, mint and chives growing up in the herb patch, a beautiful Japanese pussy willow bush (salix gracilistyla Mount Aso) with pink fluffy catkins, buds emerging on the osmanthus - can't wait to smell its delicious fragrance.  Spring is coming, days are very slowly getting longer...... and yet there is rain forecast for the next few days. :(  We do have to make the most of these good days.  Oh, and my washing has all dried beautifully :D and is now ready for ironing. ::)

World news is pretty dreadful, so we have to find pleasure where we can, folks. ;D

Well Flash Harry ,tiddler Kyra and family here on Sunday .
I must bake, and get tots’ yoghurts when I shop tomorrow .

Had hair cut this afternoon ,quite short but I am OK with it.
Had to walk down to town as no word about the ‘“emergency “tablets I am supposed to have- Receptionist today found no trace of anything despite me taking the letter from the Cardiologist to the Surgery on Wednesday morning.
No buses running so walked, — waited an hour for a twenty minute service on my way back.

Dull and damp weather.Everywhere is so wet.
Roll on Spring. The winter Flowering Jasmine is in flower but obviously needs some dead wood cutting out.
Muscari shoots  coming up and Bluebells , Peony shoots -red - looking a bit like Rhubarb  - coming along, no sign of any Snowdrops .
Something has nibbled my purple sage plant, but  parsley and chives coming along , the thyme is quite a bush now despite my frequent need for thyme.
Bay shrub O.K. But looks like Vine Weevil has been busy!

Must spray apple trees ( dwarf) before bees come visiting.
Have lots of seeds to sow in trays ,perennials and some wild poppies( Flanders)  for in the lane .

Hope all are safe and well, although some we know are not very well so hope they have some improvement.
Cheerio.
Viktoria.
