German Calligraphy Translation

Hi everyone,

The attached letters (attached) and envelope was left to me via a will given my interest in recent history.

I have no idea what language is used but I suspect it may be German. Is it possible anybody could translate all or some of the writing?

Interestingly the paper and envelope used also have watermarks and markings which I also find fascinating.

It does look like German, but in the older style of writing whose name I forget. I'm afraid I wouldn't get very far with it, and certainly not quickly, but there are others here who are much more familiar with it and hopefully they will be able to take a look before too long.

Kurrent was a name I remembered, but I wasn't sure if this was it.

Wow that’s awesome thank you so much! Your first transcription is consistent with one I was given a while ago. Very helpful.

Would there be any hope of transcribing the other articles? I cannot thank you enough
